A process video of Jacob van Loon making one of his most recent paintings. This is really beautiful and meditative, and almost reminds me of aerial landscape videography sometimes. Jacob’s process photos and videos always make me wish I was a “real” artist.

Leading up to the 10th anniversary, StoryCorps is trying to document at least one story about each life lost in the September 11th attacks.  They’ve turned some of those stories into animated shorts.

Another process video of a beautiful illustration.  I’ve been working with watercolor a lot more lately, so this one really caught my eye.

I love his art, and watching the progress is so awesome, it looks so simple but complex at the same time, I think I’m in love.

If you haven’t checked out Tom Neely’s eerie comics, you really should.  They are all quite incredible.  This is a video of him inking one of the pages of his graphic novel The Wolf.
